Tasteful and emotionally evocative, Carol McCartney’s vocal stylings make her a singer not to be missed. A favourite on the Toronto jazz scene, she has performed with Peter Appleyard, Guido Basso, Chase Sanborn, John MacLeod, Slam Stewart and Bucky Pizziarelli.

She has been the featured vocalist with over thirty orchestras including Toronto, Vancouver, Nashville and Detroit but is equally at home with her quartet. Joined by exquisite musicians pianist Brian Dickinson, bassist Kieran Overs and saxophonist Chris Robinson, Carol McCartney draws from the American Songbook for an evening of song.
Her critically acclaimed CD “A Night in Tunisia“ continues to receive national airplay and she will release a new CD next year. Ted O’Reilly wrote, “Carol McCartney is sweet and swinging, war, dramatic and rhythmically assured at all tempos. The last word Carol sings is ‘Goodbye’, but I hope she soon says ‘Hello’ again.”
