What better way to finish off a great jazz weekend than with a great jazz brunch featuring Canada’s top interpreter of the music of the 1920s through the 1940s, Sweetheart of Swing, Alex Pangman. Have a look at Alex’s 2011 album launch video to get a good idea of this fantastic presence on the Canadian jazz scene.
With such perfect delivery and personality, it’s no wonder that Alex was signed to Montreal’s Justin Time Records in 2011, and soon afterward released “33”, an album filled with songs written or popularized in 1933. Her most recent offering, Have A Little Fun, makes it clear why Alex has received several National Jazz Award nominations.
Please note that while your admission ticket does not include food, the Jazz Room will have a great brunch menu for this event, with excellent options available for all.
