HEYDAY, is a group consisting of 5 of Montreal’s most versatile and prolific musicians; Erika Angell on voice, Jérôme Beaulieu on key boards, Kevin Warren on drums and Nicolas Ferron on guitar, and RJ LeBlanc on bass. The group has a wide range of influences hailing from post-rock to R&B and beyond while taste fully keeping the spirit of jazz as a common thread. It is an eclectic and highly energetic band that mixes finesse and feel-good in a beautiful way.
Rémi-Jean LeBlanc has been on the Canadian music scene since the mid-2000s performing with jazz artists as diverse as Jean-Michel Pilc and Carol Welsman as well as with iconic rock bands like The Dears. He has a played on over fifty studio recordings. HEYDAY is his 4th album and most ambitious thus far.
