Calgary based jazz vocalist Tina Hartt is a singer, composer and musician from Montreal. She has
enjoyed a diverse career singing across Canada and lately has been gaining national recognition since
the release of her 2023 album “Absence of You”. “Absence of You” was nominated for Jazz Recording
of the Year at the 2023 JazzYYC Awards and reached #1 on the Specialty Charts for jazz with DFBX.
Known locally as the “jazz singer with a French twist”, Tina is best known for her bilingual originals,
jazz standards and French chansons. She continues to be played on CBC – Radio Canada, and has also
received positive attention in Europe. Tina has performed at JazzYYC International Jazz Days Festival,
Klondike Days Festival, the Works Festival, and at many of Calgary’s top venues such as Jack Singer
Hall, National Music Centre, Alvin’s Jazz Club, The Grand Theatre and the Ironwood Stage & Grill.

Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts, the Jazz Room and the Galt Club. She is currently working on
her next album and is looking forward to taking her music to Ontario and France in the upcoming
months.
